The Living Room
Having walked for more than an hour through a dense forest on the outskirts of the city, you finally come upon a wooden house resting firmly in a clearing in-between the trees. You had followed a map you found online, in search of the mysterious band known as The X-Structure. You now stood in front of a large wooden cabin. The forest is peaceful around you, birds going happily about. You near the house and give a sturdy knock on door. The door creaks open and you are welcomed by an old man with a thick flowing beard. After explaining your reason for being there he beckons you in with a smile and you take a seat next to him near a crackling fireplace.
Meta, our 9th album, has been released
06.09.2010
Some people are in wonder and awe at the fact that we bring out so many albums and you know what? We are too. It just comes down to us being so inspired by so many things in life that we can't help but make music about it. It's a journey and we are very thankful that we have the ability to express it in a musical manner. So with that aside, we present to you our 9th album, Meta.
Meta is a trip through the many mysteries, beauties and ingenuities of life and what better way to document this journey than with trip-hop grooves and beats. This again is our own unique brand of trip-hop and some might not call it trip-hop but we do so wah! But call it what you may, as long as it moves you then it's all ok. Ok now I'm starting rhyme. What sort of press release is this? Oh yes, Meta.
Download it now and let us know what you think. We would love to share the journey with you. Check our social page for links on how to get in contact with us.

Soli Deo Gloria
05.09.2010
Howdy folks
Just a quick update from your favourite virtual band, ok maybe Gorrilaz are also up there with the favourites but it's a close one! ;)
Some bragging first, possibly followed by some more bragging. I am stoked to say that our latest album, Doxology, has been downloaded over a 1800 times since its release at the beginning of last month, August 2010. This is a record of sorts for us, if we go by any records, because that means that it is our most downloaded album to date, and that just after a month of being released! For interest sake Redux is our second most downloaded album, lying around 1500+ downloads. This is truly awesome and the glory does not go to us but to God, for it is made for Him as an expression of gratitude, and without Him would be impossible. That's what Soli Deo Gloria means by the way, To God Alone Be The Glory.
In other news, we are still on the hunt for a graphical artist to help us with illustrations for our photo-shoot and also the production of our first music video. We may have finally found the perfect artist for the job and we will keep you posted on that. If you feel you want to help financially in any way you can do so by reading this post with info on how to do so, Help The X-Structure come to life!. That would be much appreciated. We also want to take this opportunity to thank the artist Irving-Zero for his helps in creating the initial designs of our characters. You can see them on the band page. They are very awesome but unfortunately not in colour.
Then lastly, we have been featured on a number websites, and for this we are truly thankful. You can visit the websites below:
http://www.idyllicmusic.com/podcasts.html (Episode 162)
http://www.wesharemusic.com/album/index/id/133 (Redux is in the 100 most downloaded albums chart on the website)

That's it for now. Our new album, Meta, is coming next week so get ready for some awesome trip-hop treats. We would love to hear from you so please contact us on the left or leave us a message on our Last.fm, Facebook, Myspace, Labtones or Archive.org pages.
Peace be with you.

Help The X-Structure come to life!
23.08.2010
The current band photos of the The X-Structure are looking a bit dull, don't you think? It could use some colour for one.
We would like your help to commission an artists on Deviant Art to create a fresh look for The X-Structure. Think of it as a band photo shoot. The current photos of the band can be viewed on the the band page.
*edit: We will also be using the money towards the creation of our very first music video! Which song it will be we are not sure about yet but one thing we know is that it will be a good one.
Thanks in advance. :)
p.s. Don't forget about my trip to Brazil. :P

Doxology, our much anticpated followup album to all the other albums, is here!
02.08.2010
That's right dear friends, our much anticipated album, Doxology, is here!
We have been working on this album for the last few months, in between Starrzan being in a motorbike accident and breaking his leg, and the rest of us resting and adventuring. As the name states it is our most sincerest expression of gratitude and adoration towards God. And even though this is our intention we still do not wish to alienate anyone who does not agree with our beliefs or ideals and therefore this album can be enjoyed by anyone for what ever mood or purpose they feel, although we would be stoked if even the smallest part of God is revealed to those who listen to it.
So download it here, give it a listen and let us know what you think. It is probably easiest to leave us a message on our Last.fm page.
Oh before I forget. Don't you forget to help me out if you can for my Brazilian adventure in pursuit of love. It is the post just below this one. That would be wild and most appreciated. ;)

Help Starrzan get to Brazil, in the pursuit of love!
29.07.2010
Greetings friends!
Epic Beard here. We have a request for you our dear friend, fan, supporter and listener. As you may know we share our music with you for free, without asking anything in return except to enjoy it and share it with others. This is awesome and we intend to keep it this way but we do have a very special request that you may be able to help us with.
Our ridiculously good looking frontman, Starrzan, has fallen in love. And it is quite bad. He is actually so in love that he is having difficulty performing all those tracks that you like so much. We almost did not finish out latest album, which due very soon, because of how this love has enamoured him. This lady must be someone really special.
Now Starrzan is not a wealthy fellow as he is a mere lead player in a virtual band. We therefore need your help you get him to Brazil where his beloved is awaiting his arrival. As you may have thought this trip is not a cheap affair and will cost our lovesick comrade around $2720.00 to get there and back (works out at about 20000 in South African Rands). He is hoping to go there at the end of this year and although this is a very daring, and some would say naive, adventure he is adamant to take on this challenge in the pursuit of love.
Now please do not feel obligated to help if you cannot but if you can then you may do so by using the ChipIn button below and know that it will be much appreciated. We will of course keep you updated on his crazy adventure and I'm sure this will produce a good few love songs in the future.
Thank you for your time and enjoy the music.
